The GETAS Story
GETAS Constructions commenced operations in Ankara / Turkey in 1984. Initially working from an office located in Cinnah Street, early projects included a number of contract in for the construction of the beach site, which was planned to be built on 500 hectares of land in Balıkesir. The work included the construction of 1803 duplex villas, social facilities, on-site roads, sewage, power transmission and drinking water lines, open drainage channels, water tank, composite bridge,
GETAS, experienced steady growth in the 1980s, strengthening its position in established areas and branching out into new sectors of the industry.
Due to the earthquake disaster in Erzincan in 1992, GETAS had completed 363 detached disaster dwellings in a short period of 6 months and delivered them to the rightful owners. During the same period, electricity transmission lines, drinking water and sewerage network lines were completed.
GETAS had continued to grow during the years of 2000 and established strong business relationships with its customers and strengthened its position as a major constructor of prestigious projects, carried out with the Turkish Ministry of Education, Istanbul University and the Turkish Football Federation.
GETAS has decided to enter the Solar energy sector due to World Environmental Factors and the use of infinite energy sources.
As the world has recently shifted towards renewable energy for environmental problems, reducing our dependence on fossil fuels is the key to making a successful transition. Solar power is the most efficient and infinite source for energy production, an source of energy, that is not only vital for our world, but also provides significant economic advantages to its investors.
Since the fact that photovoltaic (PV) power systems have been increasing rapidly, GETAS has concentrated on research and development of solar power systems as a sustainable energy source in the World, while growing in general construction activities.
